Last Friday, an exciting afternoon for those interested in training took place at Gluth under the motto “from trainees for trainees“. After a welcome address by the management, the training manager, and the technical department heads, the students with an interest in technology had the opportunity to ask the trainees questions. Everyone was able to try out a few job-specific tasks themselves, such as drawing and assembling components. The practical insights and first-hand information from a trainee gave the young people a better idea of what the professions of industrial mechanic, cutting machine operator, technical product designer and electrician for industrial engineering entail and what they can expect during their training.
The trainee taster day sparked interest in technical professions and highlighted how important tomorrow’s skilled workers are.
